Some have asked why I chose the name the worms turn. It came about as a combination of my high school worms studies and the uncertainty I felt at the worm forum I participated in when it unexpectely ceased publication and took down its sponsored forum without warning.
After I contacted a few members of that forum with whom I had email contact, we established a yahoo group forum. When I thought of a name I remembered from biology " When do worms turn? This happens when an earthworm detects an unfamiliar object - the muscles contract immediately and hence the body turns to avoid the object. "
I figure with all that happened with the vermiculture site we had been with for so long many of us turned away from it asan unfamiliar object, so I figured our worms were turning.
So thats how I came up with the name. Hope nobody is disappointed with the reason.

I thought it might be from the soap opera, because of all the drama of worm farming, Ray

I thought it meant The Worms' Turn. Isn't about time the worms get a turn?
