Heres the recipe I mentioned on the Thanksgiving thread.
I made a singles 4 dish banquet for me and my critters.
We had green bean salad , stuffing, turkey , mashed potatoes, gravy, baked fish sticks and fruit dumplings for dessert.
In a 2 qt nuke dish , I layered frozen green beans, mushrooms and onions and water and a sprinkling of powdered milk.
Over this I layered a pack of GV ( Wal Mart store brand ) brand turkey flavored stuffing over the stuffing I put sliced white meat turkey breast cut in 1 inch wide strips. Then added 1 cup of water and microwaved on a 3 for 35 minutes.
As the main dish cooked I put 2 cups of water in my coffeemaker and drained into 2 quart saucepan with butter and salad seasonings. To this I added the mashed potatoes, stirred and covered. I then covered the potatoes. After the taters were done, I put a cup of water in the coffee maker to mix a packet of 2/$1 brown gravy into a latte cup. After mixing the gravy I covered it also.
With 7 minutes left on the main dish microwave time, I put 15 fish sticks with 1 ounce shot glass of water in a 6 inch Corelle skillet, sprinkled with southwest seasoning on 10 and covered with a lid to go into the nuker next.
I also took a 5 count store brand pack of biscuits cut into dumplings, added a can of fruit cocktail and syrup in a 1 qt microwave pot, added a bit of powdered milk and covered it for the next place in the microwave and covered.
After the main dish finished I set it beside the potatoes and gravy still warm with their covers in place.
Then I put the fish sticks in the nuker on 4 for 10 minutes and started fixing my plate and the critters bowls.
The dogs each got a serving of the green bean salad / stuffing / turkey layer dish over their dog food. when the fish sticks were done, I got some of the southwest flavored one to go with my banquet layer, mashed potatoes and gravy and split the five none seasoned ones in with the cats dry feed.
As the five of us ate, I put the fruit cocktail dumplings in the microwave on power 3 for 20 minutes.
I spent less than 90 minutes through preparation , cooking and eating. Played 12 hands of poker on my WSOP simulation program while the cooking was going on and after dinner , while the dumplings cooled, went to the pier to fish
