Jay, It's been quite awhile, but you made a post on wormdigest about injecting air into a bin. You ran the hose thru a two liter soda bottle (or something). Since the digest is down, I couldn't find it on a search. Can you repost the "precise" directions on how you made that thing? And talk real slow so this Texas redneck can understand... Thanks, edited: I found where you had already answered this in another thread. Thanks... I build aerators using aquarium pump aerators . I connect the lines to a 1 liter soda bottle so the line from the pump extends to the bottom of the bottle and the line to the bin is at the top of the bottle. I seal the gaps where the lines go into the bottle top with silicone gasket maker. Then fill the bottle 3/4 full and hang it from a cieling hook or stick it in a water bucket so it doesnt dance like an out of balance washing machine. The long line into the bin is sealed off and I punch a series of pin holes in it "soaker hose" style. The pump bubbles air through the water bottle which dampens the 60 hz vibrations as the two feet of soaker line at the end pumps air into the bedding. Also I can invert the bottle and the pump will force the liter of water into the bedding through the soaker hose moisturizing the bedding from the center.

bruce, you're just too close to all those fast talkin' aggies...LOL ;D. Makes you feel slow.
These 111deg days are challenging to say the least, in trying to keep those worms cool.
Jay, pictures would be great!
I knew you were traveling to Texas for setups and talks, but what have you been doing in Houston? Same thing??

billyw I drive to Houston when I crave Mexican food and a game of dime ante 5/50 hold em with some folks I used to work with before I retired. With the rising go-go juice prices my trips wont be as often now. I may have to start settling for north alabama mexican transplant offering from our local restaurant and catch up with the folks for online holdem in yahoo games
