Often I read of people who have complained of folks shipping them worms "dry packed" in peat moss. This type of shipping invariably resulted in the death of some of the stock.
Why not utilize a moist bin bedding with some clean unscented kitty litter to maintain a 70% moisture level with the worms packed in ventilated deli cups?
the cups can be packed in a flat rate USPS priority mail box with shredded paper or even bedding leaves as packaging.
The flat rate box is rated at box dimension, not weight so the worms can be packed moister without a weight penalty.
Just an idea for any of y'all thinking about domestic shipping of your worms.
BTW the flat rate boxes now cost less than $7 for domestic delivery.
