This thread will be here in General Discussion until November 8, 2005. Its purpose is for a group quarterly progress report.
Here I will post changes I have made to the site during the 3 month period and explanations of why I did the changes.
I will also briefly answer questions posed by members of the Worms Turn Discussion group. Questions needing more in depth answers will receive their own thread. Most importantly this thread will be your suggestion box.
On Nov 8, 2005, I will close this thread to reply and move it to Admin board as publicly viewed record and open a new S & P thread for the next quarters use.

Yesterday I received a private message asking why a member could not post in the Patio lounge board.
I explained in my response and explaining here in this report.
Boards placed in the non-vermiculture category require being registered to post on. While I prefer giving guests the ability to try us out before becoming registered users of this site, I feel registered members should have some perks.
A "break room' environment board free of unknown outsiders seemed like an acceptable perk to me .
I also placed our computer questions board in the registered user login category so that information posted there can be more easily verified at the "geek speak" groups with whom I participate and our on-site members with "techie" background.
I at first thought of configuring the login required category as invisible to non registered viewers , however I felt it more appropriate to display all our features to view at this time.

I now have our board set to accept graphics if members choose to post pictures. www.photobucket.com is an easy to use photo host. After enabling graphics posting capabilities on board I did make all boards here Log In required to post. Everyone can read but non registered members can only post on the guest only board. I made this change as right after I enabled on site graphics, a guest poster posted inappropriate photos. Even registered members can post on the guest board if they are having log in troubles for some reason. So if you try to post and cant, check your login and then if still unable to post leave a message at guest board and I will contact you there.

Okay, I told you folks what and why I did a couple changes. Any suggestions? Any complaints? There has to be something about how we are progressing that y'all have opinion on. I like seeing what y'all think, then see if we can somehow get it
