Not sure how long our free bandwidth will go for the month, but its up at thewormsturn.tripod.com/My intention is to promote both it and this site in the various search engines. That way if the homepage gets denied service from too much bandwidth use we still have our discussion board here and yahoo as our connect point. Its going to be great to see how far we can grow with no overhead costs.

Hi Jay, I own a URL and bought Forum Software (Invision), plus I do pay a Host that I know to host my URL/Forum. I have 2 different groups there as it is (my business group [we make Cross jewelry], and my Homesteader groups). I can always add another group if need be...with no problem at all . Just so you know. Feel free to get with me anytime you wish. DJ (North Central Texas) www.SubsistantHomesteading.com

DJ, Welcome to the Worms Turn board. Wonderful to hear that you are interested in homesteading also. I have pursued self reliency since 1996 Its great to hear that you have technical background also. Thank you for willing to be a part of building up this group venture here. I got my start online as a participant of the Greenspun hosted lusenet board sponsored by Countryside Small Stock Journal. That site grew into the www.homesteadingtoday.com forum group. It was with that group where I formed an interest in vermiculture primarily as a means of supplying no cost fertilizer for my BISF farming venture my family was pursuing as a "silver parachute" as the plant where my ex and I worked reduced overtime. Since then, my interests have formed into a diverse agronomic application to help me achieve aspects that existed when I was married but now customized to only myself and my worm farmhands.

DJ, I went ahead and applied for membership to your homesteading site. I find all sites as valuable self reliency reference and would like to add it to my references. When it comes to the subject of self relient living, I dont think there is ever too many resources.
Thanks
