Mikes post on his use of compost tea got me to thinking about all the many garden brews and treatments most all of us have been exposed to during our lives in gardening and caring .
The first garden brew I was introduced to was a mixture of flat cola and beer for yellow grass patches. Another brew I have recently been introduced to is coffee dregs and sugar water.
I know the cola and ber spray for the lawn had positive affects. I haven't tried the coffee dregs and sugar water yet.
So far I am of the mind that the sugars are the most important component as they are utilized by the plants to maximize photosythesis.
What are the garden brews you are familiar with and your thoughts on why they are or arnt efficient?
