The clay litter layer under worm castings is supporting the tomatoes with just a misting every evening. Out of 60 tomato plants only 3 have succumbed to damping off.
the lower layer works much better than peat moss and best part is by using some of the clay litter I already purchase for use in my worm bins , my garden costs re once again almost zero.
